What We've Been Watching!

These are the movies the family has watched lately. We like to rate them on a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being the worst ever and 5 being the best.

This first movie "The Chaperone" stars Triple H from WWE. We were hoping for a comedy. Not so. It was cheesy, The daughter had NO respect for adults and the plot was way too obvious.

We rated it a 2

Despicable Me is an animated movie by Universal Pictures. It was cuter than I thought it would be and has been watched more than once in our house. The one they call DAD reminds me of Uncle Fester from The Addams Family.

Mimi rated it a 5!

Any movie with Betty White in it has got to be good. And while this movie was lacking in certain areas, Betty White did not disappoint. The dancing lesson scene was absolutely hilarious.

We rated it a 3 1/2

This movie turns out to be a very romantic movie but has a very long time getting to the real story. About half way through I was ready to turn it off. However, once they got to the real story it got really good. Very funny and romantic. Vanessa Redgrave did a stellar job in this one.

I rate this one a 3 1/2

What can I say? TRAINS, Denzel Washington, TRAINS, Chris Pine, TRAINS, Nonstop action, TRAINS, edge of your seat tension right to the end. Oh and did I mention that there are TRAINS!

Definitely a 5!

Mimi and I are currently watching the 2nd season of "The Big Bang Theory". It's a tv show about 4 science genius geeks and one ditsy blonde. It is absolutely hilarious.
