It's True!

Hello, My name is Kim and I am addicted to the Internet.
That's right, I said it. I am ADDICTED.
Wasn't sure when I first realized it, but now that I know the question is...
Do I want to do anything about it?
Do I enjoy this addiction too much?
How do I know I am addicted?

Here are a few questions I've come up with to ask yourself to see if you are addicted also.

1. Do you watch the news on TV only to run to your computer as soon as its done to make sure that they told you the whole story?

2. Does someone come to you during the day and tell you something they heard on tv or radio and you contradict them? "No, I didn't see that on the internet, Can't be true"

3. Does anytime someone in your house even look like they are going to walk by the door to the room where your computer is you yell "NO WAY! I'm fixing to get on the computer?" (Cats will look at you strangely when you yell that to them)



4. One of your kids comes to you and says, "Mom, Can I look something up on the computer"? and you throw yourself across the keyboard and monitor and break out in a fine sweat?

5. Do the words "google", "dotcom", and "YouTube" make your shiver?

6. When you are in the car with your husband, do you complain to him that the browser on his cell phone is slower than dial up?



7. Do you have all your favorites lined up in the order that you read them each day?

8. Have you ever tried to point out something on your tv screen with your curser only to realize it's not your monitor?

9. Does the thought of a power failure give you nightmares?



And finally the biggest question of all

10. Do your thoughts of a new Lap top include the words "waterproof" "bathroom" and "key lock"?



You will be amazed at how bad time-consuming fun your addiction is once you think about it.
