Well finally time for an update. Frank and the kids made it back from the funeral safely and really enjoyed getting to go by Shaylens in WV. Said the weather was way too cold for him so I guess that means we will live out the rest of our years here in Florida.

We've been pretty busy with our "babies" lately. Had to take Angel to the vet two days ago. We had two trees cut down in the yard and the vet thinks she may have inhaled a piece of sawdust and began coughing something awful. Had to take Bear the today for his checkup on his skin infection. He is getting much better.

I've been busy working on my hand pieced blocks. I have finished two more.

This one is called Wishing Star and was pretty easy. Had a few set-in seams but overall not a problem.

This one is called Lover's Knot and was very easy. I haven't trimmed them down yet but will when I decide on a setting. I am currently working on three other blocks right now and will post as soon as they are done.

Mimi is doing well. She is ready to get the garden started and has already bought Tomato plants and Cucumber sets. Weather has been nice but extremely windy here today.

Well time to get back to my sewing so will post more later!
