The other day we took a trip down to the Suwanee River in Fanning Springs. Went to the wayside park on the south side of the bridge. Here are some of the photos I took. We are having a great summer trying to keep busy and have fun also.

"Way down upon the
Suwanee River..."

Frankie on the boat dock pretending to throw Mimi's friend Sasha into the river! This is a floating dock so it felt very unsteady when a boat would go by.

Here circled in yellow you will see the head of a small
water snake (could be a moccasin) but I wouldn't get close enough to find out.

So Frankie decides to go down and route him out so we can all see what kind it is.

Don't know what he thought he would do if it came out at him!

But one thing is for certain, he can't be counting on me!

Mimi and Sasha enjoying the view.

Really proud of my little woman-child. She is growing into a real beauty.

Hwy 19-98 bridge over the
Suwanee River.

Mimi posing beside the water level marker.

I can't believe she is letting me take this many pictures of her.

He loves being outdoors.

Not very happy that I am continuing to take pictures.
OMG! Is she actually posing for me!

Mimi took this picture standing out on the dock. Looks like she is standing on the water!

The original
trestle from the
Suwanee River Bridge. Preserved in the state park now.
More on our next adventure later!
