3 Weeks Down

Well Mimi and I have finished the first three weeks of school for this year. So she is now off for a week. We have found that 3 weeks on and 1 week off suits us best. The is year is going so much better, and smoother. She Aced her first English test with 100% and her first math test also got a 100%. We've done a small unit study on flag day and and completed an art project of a Mosaic flag.





Did a painting of a Chinese dragon and learned about the myth of the dragon.





She did a beautiful painting of the planet Jupiter for her Planet Notebook. Memorized and recited three required Bible verses:

Romans 3:23
Acts 16:31
Ephesians 6:1

She learned nine new words from our studies (not counting her spelling words), went on a field trip to the library. Her Horseback riding lessons are going fantastic. So all in all the start of our 2007-2008 school year is off to a great start!
