Lately I've been questioning myself on whether I am doing right by homeschooling. I know right now we don't have a choice with Mimi having anxiety problems. But I'm constantly feeling like I'm not pushing hard enough then feel guilty when I do. I realize there are a hundred things we do everyday without the books that are learning experiences, but I just can't pull myself away from the fact that school should be a formal setting. I know I need to retrain myself to think differently. I absolutely love the home schooling, picking out cirriculum and making lesson plans. But when she doesn't get excited about it like I do I tend to sit back and start questioning my decisions all over again. We have had an extremely hard time this year setting up a normal routine. We've tried a few different approaches but none have seemed to work more than a few days at a time. Is it normal to feel inadequate in this situation?
In other news, the weather tonight is just horrible. The storms just keep coming in waves. Of course we need the rain but I can sure do without the wind! I am so ready for summer and all that goes with it including this....

Can't wait for the fresh melons and cantaloupes!
I guess I've whined long enough tonight. As my son would say "want some cheese to go with that whine?" As it happens he brought home Pizza Hut pizza tonight so "Yes I would like some cheese and on those breadsticks will be just fine thank you!
