Worked a little on a quilt block that I am handpiecing. Made Rosie a new doggie jacket yesterday. It's fleeced lined and Leopard skin fabric. She is totally cute in it and loves it. Mimi and Shelby are making good progress on their respective quilts. Mimi is making her own I Spy quilt and Shelby is making 2 of them for her niece and nephew. I will continue to work on my Ohio Star quilt when they get through in my "sewing room"!
Here's a cute poem I thought you might like...
The Quilting Bug
by Bee Neeley Kuckleman
I've been bitten by wasps And mosquitoes and beesAnd by spiders and antsAnd by flies and by fleas
I have also been bittenBy a bug that's quite nice.I refer to the love bugWhich bit once or twice.
Then the quilting bug bit me.What a bite that bug had!I will never recover.I am certainly glad.
There's just one good prescriptionFor relief when it itches. That's relax and enjoy it,And, as needed, take stitches.
